The interest in the field of industrial research and technological innovation have allowed Demus to patent the results of two important researches, developed in co-operation with external laboratories and with the University.
The activity of the laboratory is to provide chemical-physical analyses on coffee (and other food) and technical advice, as well as to find the best solutions to improve the production and the quality of the product to support internal purposes.
Its services include analyses on coffee, also decaffeinated, the characterisation of coffee blends, technical advice, training courses and a constant research and development work.
In order to continue its research, Demus has opened Demus Lab, a laboratory of research and physical-chemical analyses on coffee in the renown Area Science Park of Trieste, with the purpose to activate co-operations with other laboratories and research centres, also universities.
